Requirements To Qualify
Member must be 18 years or older.
Provide Proof of Identity – valid Copy of Social Security or Belizean Passport .
Provide Proof of Address - recent utility bills in member’s name (if utility bills are not in the member’s name, to submit a Utility Bill Holder Slip)
Member must have 10% of loan amount in shares.
Member must present: Proof of Income & Employment-recent Employment Letter signed by employer (minimum of 8 months employed) / Social Security or Pension letter for pensioners.
Member with full salary assignment or salary deduction order. If necessary, deduction must be increased.
If member is a salary earner but has no salary assignment or deduction, then member must zero delinquent or have an excellent loan history for a minimum of two years or more.
Self-employed members must be zero delinquent or have an excellent loan history for a minimum of two years or more. Otherwise, must obtain a salaried co-maker or guarantor who must assign a full salary or a salary deduction. Member must be in business for a year or more and must provide Income and Expense Statement.
Loan cannot be granted in a minor’s account.
