RECORDS OFFICE CLERK
EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- An associate’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Work experience in records management or office support work will be an asset
All prospective applicants must meet the following additional requirements:
- General knowledge of office procedures and records management practices
- General knowledge of filing systems, both physical and electronic
- Customer service principles and professional telephone etiquette
- Basic understanding of credit union operations and financial services (an asset)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be team-oriented, proactive, and possess a positive attitude
- Be willing to work flexible hours
- Be fluent in English and Spanish, both written and oral
- Be willing to travel as required and possess a valid Driver’s License Class A.
- Knowledge in anti-money laundering, combating the financing of terrorism law & counter proliferation finance will be an asset.
- Knowledge of the banking industry in Belize and general regulatory procedures mandated by the Central Bank of Belize. (Knowledge of the Credit Union Act will be an asset).
